The camera image is not displayed on the PC or the camera function does not work.

1. We recommend that you update the firmware to the latest version.

Download and install the Bose Work Configuration software (Windows / MAC OS) from www.boseprofessional.com, launch the software, and update to the latest firmware.

 

2. Check the following, depending on how you connect your Videobar VB1 to your display.

(1) When connecting a laptop computer and an extended display directly via HDMI:

• Make sure that the DisplayLink setting is Disabled. (It is disabled by default.)
  
  

(2) When connecting to an extended display with the DisplayLink function of VB1 (a function that outputs HDMI from a laptop computer through VB1):

 

• Your PC requires a DisplayLink driver. If it is not installed or is not the latest version, download it from https://www.displaylink.com/downloads and install.
   
• Launch the Bose Work Configuration software and change the DisplayLink function to Enabled in the Configuration > User Access menu of the Administrator settings. (It is disabled by default.)
  
  

 

3. Disable Low Power Mode when linking with an external device.

When linking the system with the following other companies' devices, set Low Power Mode to Disabled. If enabled, problems such as the camera not being recognized by the touch panel may occur.
　Microsoft Teams rooms, Zoom rooms, etc.

　HP Elite Slice G2 Audio Ready 

The Low Power Mode setting is found in the Configuration > System menu of the Administrator area in Bose Work Configuration. 

 

If the symptom does not recover even after checking the above settings, return the Videobar VB1 to the factory settings and then check steps 1 to 3 above again.

How to return to factory settings

• Press and hold the Mute button and Bluetooth button on the right side of the Videobar VB1 at the same time for 5 seconds.
• The light bar will pulse white repeatedly. The lights will then move outward from the center until the whole light bar is lit solid white and then turn off in the same pattern. When this process is completed, the VB1 will restart with its factory default settings.
