This article describes how to use the power switch to restore the PowerSpace+ amplifier to the factory default state.

Note that restoring to factory settings will clear the current settings in the amplifier.

Relevant Product(s)

  • PowerSpace P4300+
  • PowerSpace P4150+

Procedure

1. Put the unit in standby mode. If the power indicator (POWER) is on, press the power button once to enter standby.

2. Disconnect the power cord and wait 10 seconds.

3. After waiting 10 seconds, reconnect the power cord. The amplifier will start up in standby mode (power light off).

4. Press the power button to turn on the amplifier and wait 7 seconds.

5. After 7 seconds, quickly press the power button 4 times.

All SIGNAL and LIMIT indicators will flash a few times and the amplifier will restart and go into standby mode.

If a DHCP server exists on the network, it will automatically assign an IP address to the amplifier. If there is no DHCP server on the network, the amplifier will be assigned a link-local address (169.254.0.0/16).

Tip: If the reset is not successful, repeat steps 1-5.
